Terms of Service

1. Service

OpusGate ("the Service") provides paid access to third-party large language models via a single API endpoint and web cabinet. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Account

You must provide a valid email and keep your password and API keys confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account and API keys.

3. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to: generate content that violates applicable law; attempt to attack, reverse-engineer, or overload the infrastructure; circumvent billing or rate limits; abuse the upstream model providers in ways that would violate their respective terms.

4. Billing

The Service is prepaid. The minimum top-up is $5 USD. Each API request deducts cost from your balance in real time. Prices are listed on the home page and may change with at least 7 days' notice for existing users.

5. Refunds

Unused balance is refundable on written request within 14 days of the original top-up, minus payment-processor fees. Used credits are non-refundable.

6. Bonuses and promo codes

Bonus credits granted via promotions or referral programs are non-refundable and may expire. The bonus portion of a top-up is consumed last.

7. Data

We store account data (email, hashed password) and per-request metadata (model, token counts, cost, timestamp) required for billing and abuse prevention. Prompt and completion bodies are not retained on OpusGate servers. Upstream model providers may retain data per their own policies.

8. Service availability

The Service is provided "as is", without uptime guarantees during closed beta. Planned maintenance will be announced in advance where practical.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, OpusGate's liability is limited to the unused balance on your account at the time of the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Unused, eligible balance will be refunded on termination if the closure is not for cause.

11. Changes

Material changes to these terms will be announced via email at least 7 days before they take effect.
